For sale or trade I have an Urei LA-22 compressor/limiter/expander. This is a pretty unique member of the Urei lineup. It’s two channels (dual mono or stereo linked) with adjustable average or peak detector as well as a side chain EQ to use as a dynamic EQ/frequency dependent compressor. You can even press a button and monitor the side chain EQ so you can hear what frequencies are affected in real time. Lots of routing options in the back for triggering the side chain, expander, and other functions
$800 plus shipping, pick up in Nashville

Ok cut me off for the holidays. Just bought a pair of Groove Tube MD3A. These are pretty rare, designed after Sony C37A with Josephson capsules ![](//storage.proboards.com/5388330/thumbnailer/UcQWqr0jiADFfJlf0Kex.png) ![](//storage.proboards.com/5388330/thumbnailer/XVcEwTGTxexdiukUxgJC.png)

Traded a Roland RS09 for a Sennheiser MD441. Also, bought Kontakt 6 and the Arturia V Collection and probably going to buy a KeyLab 61 MK II and set up a soft synth computer at the studio using those and all the random IK Multimedia stuff I got in the group buy. I just have to take the time to set it up to be user friendly as possible or no one is going to touch it!

Sold off a few things and pulling the trigger on mythundreamt U67 reissue. Whuuuu? ![???](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/huh.png) What is “mythundreamt”? 😂 it’s his user name on the forum. I often miss the apostrophe when typing on my phone

Definitely wasn’t planning on buying a U67 today but got it at a fair price and it’s in great condition. Excited for it to show up! Dream gear. No regrets for that one. Thanks! At that point in my life where I’m just trying to buy “forever” pieces and I think this will be one. The only problem is I’m often tempted by cheap “deals” that just sit in the rack or mic locker unused when I should just save for stuff like this.

Amazing compact condenser microphone. Tight cardioid pattern with minimal bleed makes it great for close miking. Excellent condition, comes with proprietary cable. New these are $999. FINAL PRICE DROP

Maybe I’m lucky but I’ve never had an issue with Pro Tools stability in the past decade or so that I can remember. The only thing that’s ever caused crashing is plugins that aren’t compatible with an update (NoiseAsh Pultec was giving me issues)

I have a Perpetual Ultimate license and it was cheaper for me to get a new subscription instead of doing the support renewal. I think? I don’t know I have 3 licenses I keep going at all time and my Avid account and iLok is a mess 😂

You might want to check out the SPL DynaMaxx as an afford VCA compressor. It has some unique functions.

I think you can just buy another subscription and let the other expire and get the discounted price. That’s what I did

I’ve not used the AC Sound, but I wouldn’t think of using a pair of DBX 160VU’s for mix buss duties

TL193's are a good value. I had a TLM170 with a transformer and owned a pair of U89's. They are all "fine". Not exciting. Like 414 ULS and EB microphones. They are very sterile but never get in the way. If they were a color, they'd be gray. That being said, still useful on anything you don’t particularly want to emphasis the top end. They remind me of ribbons in that sense

I don't really want to buy any more plugins but might dig through the basement and try to find something I can sell to justify InfiniStrip. I think it would be incredibly useful at the tracking space. Also tempted by DSM V3.

Samples From Mars - Evertything they've ever made for $19 BF20217B5R6WFX @soriantis you might be interested? If you need electronic drum samples these are the best I've ever used My bad: I think this is only for people who are previous customers. The current full bundle price is $39 on the main landing page, it appears. The code worked for me

Messing around with Neold V76U73 after buying it for $29 and really like what it's doing on vocals and fiddle. Project I tracked using a U87 on both and it really tames with 3K/midrange "bite" Pretty happy with this purchase! Where was this $29? Thank you! They have a voucher for $29 for (almost) any plug-in. It’s on their website

Exactly. The VU cards are $135 from John. There is a 7 pin connector that they plug into, so install doesn't require any soldering.

If you are using a DAW you'll have visual indication of level there but there's no meter or peak indicator light on the unit itself. But there aren't VU or peak meters on a lot preamps (Neve and API) so it hasn't really been a problem. But, the VU meters John Hardy uses are really great.

![](//storage.proboards.com/5388330/thumbnailer/gAaSTFztTwmoyZjXbbZR.png) It has the output transformer but not the VU or peak meter.

Offering up one of my John Hardy M1 2 channels preamps for trade. These don’t have the VU meter option (can be purchased from John Hardy) but they do have the optional output transformer. Scratches on the top and bottom but racked up that’s not noticeable. New this configuration would be $1445. These are some of my favorite preamps but I have another one and there’s a bunch at the studio so…
Would love to trade for a DBX 165A, DBX 162, Elysia nvelope (rack not 500 series), Chandler Germanium compressor, Buzz Audio DBC-20, Overstayer MAS, TK Audio TK-Lizer 2, Buzz Audio Zodiak-DCX, Empirical Labs FATSO Jr, or a Coles 4038
Or would sell for $1100 plus shipping
