Check out the signature bundle it’s all the native plugs. If you like that bundle, you could sell your UA stuff, get your new interface and buy signature and run native.

This seems confusing. I have no hardware and bought the Signature bundle during the last sale. It includes , i believe all the uadx plugs currently in the subscription plan or all the plugs that ua has made native and I have perpetual licenses as I am not in the subscription plan. I have to use ua connect to download and install, as they are uadx. In ilok, i can choose to Manage their authorization location: cloud, dongle or on my computer. If, on my computer, I will have no cloud issues running those plugs, as my system and its authorizations are computer not cloud based: correct ? If the UAD product line was a comedy sketch it would be this .... it’s getting beyond confusing UA connect defaults to cloud authorization, which you would never realize, until your cloud connection is dropped. Or you manage the authorization location, and then set it where you want, in my case on computer.

All good, think the only outstanding is confirming where your authorizations are, as I said, I never have to do what you are doing, just instantiate UA plugs in daw, like normal.

THX, Boss and I have another confab about ilok authorizations/UA connect problems in another thread! He seems to need to constantly reset his authorizations if I understood him: was just surprised as I never do, but have them in my computer. You can have all the sub plugs as perpetual licenses, if you’ve bought them .

I noticed Drew has started a thread about exploring how UA could better serve its establish cliental. He was looking for volunteers. I responded, radio silence. What thread is this? I haven't seen it. I’ll look for it.

I had thought one could only delete stuff off iPhone, like voice memo files.
But when I connect my iPhone to my Mac mini, I see I can back up the iPhone to my mini.
Once I do that, if I reset the iPhone does it wipe all data so I start fresh in terms of available space .

The dilemma is that UA offers very little new to the established client, after you have your interface and the plugs you want, what are you going to buy from UA: not much, So, UA switched focus over the last while and is putting lots of effort into launching new products so not much focused on the old school pro users, but new users to hook them up to the lets build revenue stream. I sold my ua stuff for the second time a year or so ago because of the inequitable way it was treating old clients vs new in terms of plug pricing. At the time, I said at ua forum, for ua to be equitable, it should just give licenses to those of us who had already paid more for fewer licences, than the new users who had only paid for a subscription for a few months and then were able to buy Ultimate for less than $ 1000. Let's just say that idea was not supported I returned to the UA forum recently due to buying the Signature bundle: all its plugs that now run natively. I noticed Drew has started a thread about exploring how UA could better serve its establish cliental. He was looking for volunteers. I responded, radio silence. I expect plug prices to stay low, UA to put some, not all major new plugs into the subscription plan and for more uad2 to be ported over to UADx.

Here are two ilok manager screenshots. In the first under the first digirocks cloud account there is a little M in the top right hand corner above the K. That indicates than I am managing where my license will go. They will not default to the cloud. I will have the option of choosing where I want the authorizations to reside, cloud, dongle or computer. If you double click on, it the second screen opens and you see that Manage is specified or you can switch to automatic, the default, which puts the authorization back on the cloud. The third shot shows where my authorizations are ( far left hand column) and note that you can have more than one location. In all cases, I have my authorizations on my computer, see the centre column under valid locations monitor image darkened. They only time my ilok related plug ins dont work was when they were on the cloud and it was down or with internet problems. Last week for the first time a ua native plug was not opening, but when I opened ua connect they all needed to be updated, although I had just installed them a few days ago. Other than that with authorizations on my computer, I never have the problem you first described. I'd suggest opening up your ilok manager and just reviewing your plug in authorizations, as you should be able to install them on your computer.

When you say machine, you mean you authorized your ilok licenses to be stored on your computer ?

And the ua neve 73, is native now, you should be able to demo it, just need to download ua connect or you can try their 3 month sub plan for 1$

Seems he is and the cloud synch is dropping so has to reset, better to have your setting to manage, put them on your dongle or computer: ua connect defaults to cloud authorization, once dropped/burned forever shy !

That’s not right, other then an update coming from ua, you should just be able to use ua native plugs with no ua connect interaction required. Are your ua authorities on your computer on on a cloud ?
