I went "full LCR" about a year ago. With the exception of sometimes toms and strings. I think its improved my mixes, however everytime we mix we SHOULD be getting better at it, I think LCR has def. helped. Speaking of improving your mixes/techniques, do you LCRers have a generic setting/starting point for HP/LP of middle and side material? Do you HP/LP MS differently?

I really don't think its because of the popular phrase "still on the honeymoon" or that it just ended, Breaking Bad is/was my all time favorite show. Looking forward to Better Call Saul. I am upset with Vince and team however, you set the bar so high(no pun intended) all other TV is only a % as good as Br Ba. Back to predictable done before TV. If anybody could recommend anything maybe 85% + as good, do so! Respect the Chemistry. BB was really killer. Sad to see it gone. I'm looking forward to Better Call Saul too, but I can't imagine it even being half as good as BB. I'm hoping for something else killer to watch too....looking forward to seeing what's next. Im getting caught up on Louie right now... I watched the first episode of the blacklist... (Yawn) Its ok I guess..

Dexter is supposedly a good watch. Dexter should have ended after Trinity. They ringed out that money maker for every $ they could. If people enjoyed the second half then good for them, I wasn't a fan. The last season was comical.

I found this site a few days ago and think its great! After seeing this Breaking Bad topic I had to join.. This is my favorite show ever. Some interesting facts Ive discovered recently is the Saul Goodman spinoff show. "Better Call Saul" (the title of the first episode with Saul, and his slogan). It will be a prequel, so no spoiler alert for how Breaking Bad ends for Saul. Vince Gilligan said "He likes the idea of a show about a lawyer who does everything possible to avoid the courthouse". Saul is my favorite character, Hank being a close second. I will say(even though it is TV), standing in the wide open for approx. 8-10 secs. With 5 guys unloading magazines in your direction at a relatively short distance(for long guns anyway) was a little unrealistic. Even though every prediction Ive had about the show is wrong, I think Walt will somehow get uncle Jack to not kill Hank(cant say for Gommie) possibly beating his head on the glass of the door to get his attention, Or Jack just sees Hank screaming, tells his men to hold fire, and Walt might even give up the $$ to save Hanks life. Then(big twist in Br Ba tradition) Hank & Walt go after Uncle Jack and the $$/lab together. That M60 in the shootout ends up in Walt's car trunk somehow.. Probably totally wrong. "Respect the Chemistry B&tch!"
