LOL. You gotta tag me in the post or else I might not see it! Anyway, it looks like they only ship to Europe or else I would definitely get it even though I don't really need it..

He’ll likely have trouble selling it, shipping here is really no big deal, worth an email, you could fix it and flip it, pocket some not chump change I bet !?

With lines like that, it's usually a case of the ribbon cable from the LCD driver board to the LCD itself have started to come loose. Probably impossible to fix without purchasing a new LCD, if they're available.. But this is one of those things that you get for so cheap and fix it, that you'll have trouble parting with it later because you know you'll never be able to afford one otherwise!

Looks like the exact same screen that the Grace m802 remote uses. I bet you can still get it.
Sucks those thing only go up to 24b96k with the built in converters.
Also lame it doesn't ship here.

Is the ribbon attached to the LCD or it's as simple as replacing only the ribbon cable?

Some LCDs have a cable that's bonded to the edge of the actual glass with conductive glue, and if those come loose it's almost impossible to repair. Usually when those go bad you see these types of lines in the screen, which is why I'm guessing this is the case here.

I believe there's already a plugin version of this eq? They did the comp, limiter and de-esser (which are awesome) but not the EQ yet.

Is Weiss still in business? If so, why not buy it and have them repair?
