Fast forward to 7:20 and watch. It's a life well spent mastering a craft when Vinny can bring out emotion in me by playing a guitar. Amazing talent.

I became a Vince Gill fan when I was in my early 20's (I didn't listen to a lot of country at that time) and I saw him sing and play once and I was amazed!

Amazing song choice for those two! Carrie tore it up and Vince is Vince...... insane talent, glad to see him coming back.

Totally of topic but Gill must be a real big guy. That strat looks tiny on him. What is he 6'2-6'3? Great talents!!

Vince kills it, every time. I would love to journey to Nashville and take in Vince and The Time Jumpers:
Paul Franklin just destroys on Steel guitar. The best, everyone in that band.

Man...I just love this classic songwriting...of course, the production is dated now, but this is the kind of stuff that made me like Country music...We don't have it anymore...

That pair right there may never be topped. Patty is a hoss as well. She grew up in the heart of coal country too. Down the road about 20 miles from me and Chris. Nothin like a true country girl. Especially one that can saaang.

My mother's side of the family hails from the Sebree/Madisonville area, Hopkins County Kentucky. They were in the coal and tobacco businesses. My grandfather, Charles Lee Walker, moved to Detroit along with his brothers during the 1920s, probably to escape that life. He traded it to spend his career working for Ford in the auto factories. I have relatives still there, and I want to visit them some day. Some roots refuse to die.

Love the Time Jumpers. I miss the old members, but enjoy the new ones.

I'm from Mississippi...You boys are Yankees Hah! Never felt like one. My first musical hero was Buck, and my first guitar hero was Roy Clark. My father painted my first guitar, an old Tuxedo nylon string, Red/White/Blue. Must have been the Hee Haw influence.

I tried to forget that thread! Some things are just not meant for general consumption. Now I need a cigarette.
