I want to "cut the cord" to save some money. Don't watch a lot of TV. Trying to decide between a ROKU Stick or Amazon Fire Stick. Anyone have a preference?

Thanks Jesse. Care to elaborate? It's just been super reliable. Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime work great. The old Roku I had always felt slow. I've got 3 Firesticks now.

Roku. I have a Roku enabled tv and it's been great. Fast, reliable.

All of the newer Rokus don't have that issue. One nice thing is that they are not tied to a brand, so no restrictions on apps. Also the network control app is really good.

Can't speak to the Firestick. Have had the basic Roku Streaming Stick now for several years. No issues, and been happy with it. Runs hot, but never had any glitches. I have an older flat screen that sometimes has issues powering it consistently from the USB port vs. an AC plug.
