Rightous. Garbage in, garbage out, and you get what you pay for. You can't hide from this baby.

Nice to see Japanese mics getting some love here! Says not available in EU or China though, I wonder why? How much are they?

You can get a rather well-worn-in unit on eBay and save $1000 right now

We used to have a pair. I found all those peaks above 2k never translated into my go to mic except for dark sources.

Getting to sing a song, with the 'Ol Possum, must've meant the world to Alan.
Like when Johnny Cash was asked who was the best male Country singer... He replied, "You mean other than George Jones?" Chris

George was the absolute best. Absolutely . . . . After Merle.

Merle and Jones share 1st place for me. Patsy Cline and Loretta Lynn, are my female faves. Chris

Agreed, everyone could use a George Jones to sing at least one of our songs, though they don't come cheap, but you do get what you pay for...in the this case the original vintage with no mods. I voted on a George Jones for Heiserman's next foray into their take on the classic. I heard that Stam was thinking about a Merle but sourcing parts was near impossible.
