Interesting U47 build by Dennis Ward at www.dennisward.de using a FAB V8 transformer from fabmicrophones.com and a Thiersch capsule. FAB transformers are still available with discount for members.  |

I finished My M49 pair with those transformers, and I can vouch for them. The microphones sound phenomenal, and Chris has been absolutely perfect to deal with. Highly recommended.
