Fun fact: David Grisman thought Hal Blaine was so funny that they cut a comedy album and put it out on Grisman’s label. I have a copy somewhere.

I met a niece, of the great drummer (her father, was his brother) tonight.
So I was able to extend my condolences directly to her. And told her how Hal, was my favorite all time drummer. Chris
