Hate the butterscotch finish and maple fretboard, but if they ever do a natural with rosewood I might be interested. Sounded great.

To each their own, I love the classic look: a buddy in a band back in 70’s had one, it was a blast to play !

I have the fat neck humbucker Tele, looks about the same as this cosmetically, definitely my fave bass. Didn't dig the single coil Tele reissues I tried. This is an interesting blend.

They need to stop this nonsense. PJ basses are bad enough - the pickups are ALWAYS out of polarity - but doing one in an original P body (the so-calle "Telecaster" bass) is just blasphemy. |
