Well I just found this for sale near me: www.trulia.com/p/mt/red-lodge/37-red-lodge-creek-ranch-rd-red-lodge-mt-59068--2056505333Mega house(bit much for me but room to start a family), isolated, lots or room, buildings and setup for horses(good for the lady) oh yeah.. and a recording studio. Nothing major, but looks like it would be great for my needs. AND its still close to where I work at the studio I run. So.. all i need is a cool 2 mill..haha One can dream... Very little info on it but heres some stuff I've scrounged as it used to be Ranch Road Recording. Equipement was decent gear wise, had a Fat Bastard Value mixer, Symphony IO. Various software. Not a ton of gear. However the guy was a musician and has TONS of guitars, amps, drums and the like. If only.. Just wanted to share.

Looks great and the price seems reasonable (not reasonable for me, but realistic maybe).

Very nice! I like the size of the control room and live room. Could do some fun stuff there. Price totally seems reasonable as well for the size of the actual house plus studio and a few acres. I mean I don't know NJ housing market..but here in MT land is considered better than solid gold I swear and the closer to the mountain the closer to diamond like prices you get..ridiculous. Not looking forward totally to buying a house next spring..

Here's the owner's website. Ranch Road Recording is the brainchild of Trace Ritter, a writer, producer and musician who’s worked at Sound City Studios with Joe Barresi (Queens of the Stone Age, Tool, Pennywise, Bad Religion, etc.), Rick Rubin (Beastie Boys, Run DMC, Johnny Cash), as well as Nirvana, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Tom Petty, pretty much EVERYONE. ranchroadrecording.com/That studio didn't last long, maybe someone should have told him the studio business was a dying industry, especially in the mountains. I guess it helps to have a rich wife.. I love these LA guys who worked as a runner in their youth for 2 years at a studio and make it sound like they work now or recently with big name Producers. It looks like he was in one band in the nineties that I've never heard of. But like a lot of guys in LA he still dresses like a rock star and acts like he makes a living in the music business somehow... I wonder if anyone at all ever recorded there. Someone should have at least proof read his website for him....

Wasn't working when I was looking at it. Has decent gear. Was a touring musician as well I'm told which you can tell as he has a lot of good insturments and amps! I'd still take it..just need that lotto win

Sent him a message. Hopefully get to go meet him. Not a lot of audio people out here and be a cool additional studio to track in possibly.
