IMHO this was one of the greatest Country Rock bands. How much presence on the "Today's Country" and/or Americana Charts, would you guess a band like that could achieve today?
BTW I picked this band specifically, as it was excellent example of top notch lead and harmony vocals, along with strong covers/original songwriting.

I had a similar conversation with one of the best german Producers last week.
His opinion is simple:
If your song rocks it will succeed.
His example was "Somebody that I used to know" by Gotye. Gotye made with this song 400+ Mio streams on Spotify alone.
If you now think about all the other streaming services.
Gotye is the best example that it can happen.
Eric Clapton said something similar about 10 years ago.
