What’s the word on the street about these guys? For digital, it looks good, any catches?
Do people know anything about PayPal charging like 30% per business transaction or what are our financial options for processing sales transactions ?
Thx!

I use distrokid and have had zero issues to date. You also get access to a spotify artist account as well, so you get access to analytics and other goodies like that. I for one like the single flat rate every year, certainly doesn't break the bank. Just look at the 3 different tiers of plans and see which one's the best fit for you. If my memory is serving me correct, just waking up....their mid tier allows more features where you can insert a isrc & a release date instead of them getting generated by your upload. Something to consider!

Not just the profile, they digitally distribute/upload your songs to EVERYTHING of your choosing. It's a one stop shop

Thx yes I know what they do:). The basic plan is like $20 and you get al the distribution for that and all your royalties.
For about $40 annually you also get to specify your label, I guess if you had a production company and wanted to raise its profile this would be good as all the streaming services would see you label name otherwise its a generic code supplied but DK ?
But if you don't care then you can save the $20 ?

So, I loaded everything on distrokid and it takes a day or two to show up in the mayor digital stores like iTunes for example.
But I also get a distrokid url , which takes you to a screen with album info, cover, title and asked whether you want to automatically save to your Spotify library ?
Would this occur after you have purchased it somewhere else or is distrokid essentially sending business to Spotify ?
