I haven't heard the new Eaton Tannoy's, but up to about 8 years ago, before I moved into this new (much smaller space)
I owned and used everyday in my two rooms.....
2 x pairs of PBM 6.5's
2 x pairs of PBM 8's
2 x pairs of NFM 8's
2 x pairs of LGM 12's (dual concentric)
1 x pair of FSM dual 15's (15 inch concentric)
1 x pair of FSM 15 (single 15 inch concentric)
1 x pair of Vintage Lancaster speakers
And when I moved, I sold EVERYTHING Tannoy.
Funny, & or Sadly enough, I missed that sound, and what dual concentric (or point source) speakers brought to the table.
I never thought the newer Tannoy's sounded the same as my old pairs, I moved on, and bought the much newer technology KEF LS50's anniversary monitors.
Simply put they are amazing !
I personally believe, for the money, nothing touches them!
