Copied over from UA forum: Just a heads up that Plugin Boutique is offering a deal where you get a free copy of Ozone 8 Elements with the purchase of any plugin, including the $1 deals they have. I bought one of the $1 synths and got a code for ozone 8 elements shortly after and it registered with Izotope just fine. www.pluginboutique.com/articles/1392

FYI, I recently bought one of the current deals from VSTBuzz and the sale was processed by PluginBoutique. Sure enough, they emailed me a code for the free Ozone 8 Elements to use on the PluginBoutique website - worked perfectly!

I actually had no idea those old AIR instruments were being updated, picked up Hybrid 3 for a buck and got the Ozone 8 Essentials license, thanks!

I downloaded and installed Ozone 8 Elements, but need an activation code, and they didn't send one. I sent a message to tech support.

Not tried it yet, but read a few reports from different places that it's as buggy as hell.

not experiencing any bugs here, so far, was just a little weird to get things authorized, but all good now.

When I have time, I'm interested in learning to use the analyzer to see if it helps me dial in a slightly less harsh mix.

I use Ozone 8 Advanced on everything I do. Best software on the market, period.

Wow, that's really interesting cowboy. In what way do you use it. I just got it and have no clue yet.

I have Ozone 5, havent used it in yrs. Maybe when I get around to test driving Elements 8 I’ll get motivated and upgrade to 8

The good thing to note here is that there are upgrade pricing tiers for elements owners. So getting Ozone Elements for a buck means you can get the advanced version for less in the future, I would assume.

I picked it up, thanks! I'm left wondering though.. what's the catch? New version coming out and they want me to.. uh, enjoy the free stuff for a little while?

It seems to be a fully functioning perpetual license for a buck: hard to complain

It's probably a loss leader to entice you to upgrade to the more featured versions. That's a pretty cool thing I think.
