It's bad when a MACworld article straight tells you that years old Intel NUCs are more powerful and cheap than the new mac minis.

It's bad when a MACworld article straight tells you that years old Intel NUCs are more powerful and cheap than the new mac minis. Macworld and PCworld are owned by the same people and it's not like its a secret that the minis were castrated after the 2012 models.

Macworld and PCworld are owned by the same people and it's not like its a secret that the minis were castrated after the 2012 models. Not sure how that changes the overall viewpoint.. They're similar hardware since all MACs are essentially intel PC's with different OS now. So I'm guessing Apple made a poor business/marketing approach by castrating their product compared to a low-end PC to keep their high-end MAC market alive.
