Just discovered the album last week. Loving everything about it. I’d love to find out where it was recorded, and by who.

I wasn’t involved in any way but love that album too! Produced by Tony Berg at his studio in LA...Mike Mogis mixed it. He has a vintage Neve on Omaha but not sure if it was mixed on that board. There’s a recent TapeOp a couple months back that had a good Tony Berg interview in it. That guy is great.

Thanks for the info, spindrift. I will go back and check the TapeOp issue. I must've skipped the article, for some reason.

I listened to this hard when it first came out. Great songs, arrangements are nice (imo). I like the acoustic guitar sound quite a bit. Her voice is quite compelling too. Now that you reminded me of this album I've been listening to it again and it still sounds fresh to me.

The closest I've come to replicating that acoustic guitar sound of "Would You Rather" is with a Gibson J45 & a Josepheson C617 jammed up close to the soundhole into a preamp that I've forgotten (Gordon Model 5, or CAPI Heider FD312 likely).
