So, I seem to have deleted a folder that contained a current session I was working on.
Computer has been shut down before I realized.
I know it is possible to recover deleted files from a mac, anybody got any software recommendations for this ?
thanks.

And you don't have any backups? Cloud? Time machine? I have used this software successfully to recover a dead Windows drive. It seems like they have a Mac version as well... www.easeus.com/ad/data-recovery-wizard.htm

I used a recovery software last year for some stuff. I'll need to look in my computer at work to find the name but it was free and worked well. It was run in msdos though, so I don't know if there is a Mac version or not.

Thyx guys, Apple support was able to help me find a relatively current version. I had been backing up but TM wasn't working, although I had 1.75 TB free, so I was manually backing up Logic folders and accidentally deleted one, (trygin to free up space) with the actual session I wanted.
