Freaking love Queen...this kinda looks like the Disney version. Not a big Rami Malek fan...he looks like Rami Malek in a Freddie Mercury wig. I heard Sasha Baron Cohen dropped out over disagreements with the band about showing some of the dark side...would have loved to have seen the unvarnished truth...ugh. Or maybe I wouldn’t. Lol.

"The Dark Side".... <chuckle>.... when I was touring across the pond in 1980 we stayed at a motel/lodge somewhere in England that Queen had stayed at fairly recently. The staff there told us some stories that are certainly not suitable for reproduction here.... If half of what they said was true, well, never mind....

One of my close friends (Javad), was a very good friend/college schoolmate of Brian May. Including before Queen, when Brian had the group "Smile".
When Freddie started out, he was "trying" to be a high tenor, but like Brian has said his voice sounded like a "bleating sheep" for a while. Good thing Freddie stuck that out. The Italian opera singers call that the "stangled cat" phase of a high tenor (like how Pavarotti did) It can last for a few years, before getting ironed out. As you may know, Freddie's natural speaking voice was a lyric baritone.
