There has to be demand for these or they wouldn’t be making them. But the iMac pro is both out of my price range and more power than I need. Wish there was a middle of the road alternative. And maybe there is with a maxed out i7 iMac

With the RADAR no real need for something more than my first gen I7 MBP but a local shop has a 2008 8 core Mac Pro for $500 that is tempting or I keep thinking about one of those Mac Mini servers in the Sonnet chassis with 2 PCIe slots. God I wish it was Mac Pros were easy to rackmount without taking up most of the rack.

I have the Mac mini server, and just bought the Sonnet chassis. Very pleased.
