Really great performer, just wish the whole show wasn't a track. Chili Peppers didn't even put in the effort of cables.

Do you think they were really playing? That sounded like a tight, intricate bassline and he was jumping all over the place. I don't see how he can do both.

Didn't the drums seem live? Fleas a baller, track or not, seen/heard him play from Point blank range many times, he's a beast! Paul McCartney's Super Bowl appearance was live and killer, so it can be done

Didn't the drums seem live? Sure, everyone is playing along, but you're not hearing it. No overheads on the drums. They were prerecorded and played along with. Vocals could have been live, but I'm 99% sure nothing else was. |

I think he synced it. He's obviously good, so why not? No overheads, but it sounded pretty killer right? I didn't watch the McCartney (other than live on tv), but I wouldn't be surprised if it was fake too! |
