It does look like at some point everything will be in perpetual stock, I noticed Gear4Music has taken them on as a global retailer and will be shipping around October / November time but the prices have gone up a fair amount.. £899.00 for the SA-2A.

Not to be negative, but with parts inventory, shipping to and from Chile and potential customs irregularities (strikes, etc.), I think everything in stock all the time sounds a little utopian ?
I got into the adg planning on at least a 3 month delay, so September would be in spec.

See how it goes I guess, I know major distributors / retailers like Gear4Music won't stand for delays.

If he doesn't generate the stock Gear4Music expects, it wouldn't be the first time he promised more than he could deliver. Until we actually see the change, we're all justified in being highly doubtful.

Don't confuse this with me sticking up for STAM, frankly I think waiting six months for anything but a ground up custom unit is un-acceptable. At this point though we all know what we're getting into. It's literally what I've seen and heard through the grapevine, so don't shoot the messenger.
I'm currently mulling over whether it's worth or not, on one hand there's the silly wait times on the other Josh is the only one that's made a convincing LA-2A clone (that I know of at least). If there was another option for even twice the price I'd take it.. It is what it is.!

"Any questions regarding delivery dates and orders have to be addressed to info@stamaudio.com" That email address above was the one Miguel from Stam audio replied to me about my shipping question, about 4 days after I sent them an inquiry. I think the different answers we received are related to when we asked since we know their ETA for some products are subject to change. I'm guessing that when we are notified to pay the balance on a order because an item or more is ready to ship, is when we'll find out the final answer to our question
Miguel seems to be in Portugal (based on geotagging of his FB posts) so I more get the feeling he's a buddy of Stam's whos helping him out. It's super easy to add multiple email addresses so I'm sure Stam just setup the info@ one to divert the complaints/questions away from the orders and his personal email. Not sure that means they've added people especially after the announcement of a multiple month delay on all their products but I hope you are on to something. They are clearly in over their heads - not to imply anything bad will happen because of that as Joshua seems to be trying to do the right things but the long delays coupled with adding new products with projected delivery of all of the newly delayed 'old' orders doesn't seem very realistic to me - the StamChild for example is ALSO supposed to ship in October plus they are already showing even more new gear - don't really know how they could possibly make that deadline or anything close to it. Your guess about the notification to pay = an item is ready to ship was the usual way it was but there are reports of people being asked to pay for their SA67 orders and after paying over a month ago have nothing to show for it! I think we all understand the Stam business plan: pre-order and the money goes for parts and we agree to wait in exchange for great gear (and it is) at low prices. I just wish Stam would adopt a more realistic view of how long it will take. It would be ok, we'd still buy but w/o the wondering or worrying. There is an expression in Hollywood "If you need 20 million dollars, ask for 20... don't ask for 10 and come back and ask for more" If Stam would say the new SA140 Plate Reverb is going to be $1299 but there will be at least a year wait, we'd still put down our money in droves. I just don't like that he says 2 months and it becomes 10. As I have said before, if I go to a restaurant and at the end of the meal I get a FREE piece of cake I'm happy and excited but if the banner on the restaurant says "FREE CAKE WITH MEAL" and I find out at the end they don't have cake I'd be mad. My advice to Stam would be to double his predictions then deliver early if he can and we'll all enjoy the feeling of free cake!
Superwack,.. I did notice that Miguel tag on FB said Portugal and your scenario could be right. But I also remember from a earlier Stam Thread somewhere recently, Josh talking about adding help to handle more of the customer email responses some were complaining about ,...and then noticed email response changes in the last month coming now more from Miguel, along with him handling their shipping update posts for the company on the Stam User Group FB page and his response on behalf of the co to some post questions and also changes I think directing requests for shipping ETA's to one email address and order snafu's and refund requests to another with instructions gave me the impression they are trying to improve in this area even if it is going to be a step at a time.
I understand why some get frustrated. For me as I read through past Stam threads before I made my first Stam order decision, what I mostly got, was quality part builds for a great price, but part of the cost for that was the downside of typically longer than expected wait times. For me that's the right choice as the build for the money is worth the wait for me. I get for others that's not the case and I agree it would be better for Stam to make realistic delivery dates. I have also seen a couple of reports of people who were asked to pay the balance of their order and it did not ship right away which is concerning if true and I hope is not.
I agree with Kcatthedog though, that the ADG revisions all in 1 box is going to be a great piece of gear.

Hi everyone,
I meant to say that the first units will be shipping in September.
The batch starts shipping in September. Some units will ship during September, others during October as well.

Guys
We would sincerely like to apologize to everybody for our constant and sometimes too long delays, I promise you we are working as hard as we can, hiring new people, training them and doing everything in our power to get your units out as soon as possible. Things got out of hand and orders multiply too fast for us to keep up with them.
Right now we are shipping the following products
SA2A, SA3A, SA47 FET, SA47, 1073MPA and SA67 (first batch). If you have reserved these products then you will get them this month, we are shipping them daily and catching up with the list.
The SA76ADG starts shipping in September
The Pultec replica, SA4000MK2, 312MP, Fairchild and 1073EQ as well as the SA87 and SA67 (second batch) starts shipping in October.
We will have every product in stock by November and end the pre/order system and their discounts.
Thank you again for supporting us and being patient with me and the team, I know we have a very long way to go to provide first class service and a better buyer experience but we are learning and getting there.
My warmest regards, Joshua

Of note though is that the preorder discount will be going away. So we won't be getting those nice discounts for early adopters on future products anymore, though Stam has already more or less "filled the stable" with the obvious low hanging clone "fruit", so in the future there probably wasn't going to be near the rate of release of new products anyway.
Also, even without the discounts, the prices are still pretty good considering what you're getting. However, with no preorder system in the future and everything being supposedly in stock going forward, Stam will have to up its game on the customer interaction side, as people will be less tolerant of poor communication and other issues that have been a common complaint.

Maybe, JK could broach an ongoing future discount just for us RGO early adopter rowdies ?

100%.
I’d so much rather pay the extra hundred bucks and not deal with a 6-12 month circus.
