Stam stock price - $899. Yes, I got a pair for less than $899 (500 series) EACH. (Obviously) I don’t understand where the pair talk comes in. You’re saying the Splice is less than the Stam. What does single/pairs have to do with it? I’m missing something I think. Sorry for confusion. I bought a pair cause the price was killer. They are actually my second pair of Splices - but that was just anecdotal. Nothing to do with price. I paid less apiece for the Splices than the price of the Stam. If you have a 500 rack, it's a great deal, and IMO, an 1176 doesn't get any better. |

We are all human but sometimes, I think we all can benefit from taking our hands off the keyboard  Agreed I think it is best I quit forums for good No matter how many times I reply or explain, delays are delays, complaints will carry on and nothing but actually shipping units will change things so I might as well spend my time doing that instead of coming here a few times a day. You know were to reach me if you need any assistance (stamaudio@gmail.com) All the best folks Josh FWIW, I hang on forums especially to have insights for developpers and manufacturers. Acustica, Tim Campbell and Josh especially. Even if it leads to arguments and fights, I find it essential as it helps me get a better idea of the products, and answers can be way faster like this than using emails. In the long term, I think it generates sales to answer people questions on forums. And arguments come with it. So now will we ever know the reveal of the shootout between the SA-67 and the 2 U67s ? A 6 week delay as of today means that they will start shipping 2nd week of October. He actually never states when in the month they will ship. The 17th of October at 3:14pm Pacific Time ...looks like this isn't happening. Go figure. |

I got all the chassis here and parts here.. etc..
I will start soldering PCB's in 10 days, who knows, we might actually make it this time, finger crossed.
If not then we can all wait a little, nobody will die (hopefully)

The first 150 are to ship in November is the correction. That is, as was indicated roughly a month ago.

I have no idea anymore when these will actually ship. They've been pushed back multiple times already. December is probably a pipe dream. I'm guessing they'll ship out sometime in the spring.

Talking to a supply chain guy for a major Consumer electronics guy, here is the thing a lot of smaller companies orders are being pushed aside because of pressure from the US big box stores on the big consumer electronics companies to push their suppliers to get parts so they can ship products to the US to beat tithe tariffs.
So politics might have something to do with this one.

So politics might have something to do with this one. But in this case, the delivery issues predate the tariffs. So while the tariffs have the potential to make it worse, they're not the cause. But if the tariffs do negatively impact deliveries, we're looking at a classic "from bad to worse" situation. |
