Well 6 months is not atypical, so guess peeps will need to decide, you can cancel, get your refund and apparently still jump back to your original spot when the units actually ship but have to pay in full then ?

well i've talked a friend into buying one too and so i ordered one for me and one for him in may and i am in the first batch. i told my friend it would take some time, but always thought september/october beeing realistic. now i feel a bit bad about my friend and i am not shure if december will be delivery time. i don't want to cancel now after waiting all this time. i wanna hear the damn thing now! i know josh keeps repeating that having and adding that many new models to his range doesn't delay the 76adg but i think it does! better have fewer items in your shop and make a professional standing than keep adding new items and, well, not making such a professional impression by the continouing delays ...

Not to be negative but I believe josh has a shipping limit per day 20-30 units and getting stuff out of Chile can also take time, so even if he ships the first 150 at end of November, I’ll be surprised if we have them before the new year.

The operation is a well-oiled machine.

There's a lot of pool potential there. We could all throw $20 bucks into a pot and pick what month and day December turn into January. . But did he say what year😎

I expected a 3-6 month lag, if they are not coming soon: think I’m done waiting and will move on.

I'd just like to get the piece I was invoiced for and paid in full for 6 weeks ago.
The ADG is a far off, nebulous concept in my mind. Hoping we see it in Q1 2019, though that may be unrealistic.

A little bit ago Joshua posted on GS in the ADG thread that he needs another week before he’ll be able to send out an email Also stated hopes to complete all the Stamchild updates maybe today that went out last Friday. It was mentioned previously having multiple coming soon products does not effect manufacturing. I ask, how does it effects correspondence?

If I may ask, when was the last update for your order? And what was the status? October 17th. Said they expect to finish all orders (for the 1073MPA) in October or first half of November and then they'd ship. But then why invoice me on Sept 22nd? The email also says for everyone who waited after payment there'll be some future discount offered. I do appreciate that I got an update on the situation (7 months after I ordered, a month after I paid in full..) and I appreciate that he's offering compensation for having to wait after payment. I don't think Josh likes all this chronic headache any more than us customers do. I just wish they'd come out and be clear about their operation, ie, why you get invoiced when your order isn't anywhere near done and ready to ship. I got an update over the summer too that said the 1073MPA's would be shipping after they got back from their promo tour (several months ago now) and I'd be invoiced when my unit was ready. But here we are. Invoiced/paid 6 weeks ago, no product. PS this is an ADG thread. I don't mean to clutter it up. All the Stam threads run together though because it's all the same issues over and over and over.

I'd just like to get the piece I was invoiced for and paid in full for 6 weeks ago. Your item is in stock and shipping and you paid the full price so yes there is no excuse here now. Have you checked with your Visa or PayPal warranty just in case?

Have you checked with your Visa or PayPal warranty just in case? I'm not concerned about that. Josh would give me a refund if I asked for it. He's done it for many people who got tired of waiting. I don't want the refund though, I want the preamp. PS it's not 'in stock'. They're not even done building the ones that are spoken for. If you're going off the website, it says 'in stock' a lot when it's almost never actually the case.

He said yours was shipping a little over a week ago on this forum IIRC and his website says it is in stock. Just because people have been refunded doesn't mean there isn't going to be a big big one as in belly up; oldest scam in the book.

So am I, so check with your Visa and PayPal account just to be safer ;-) What are you telling people to check? If we pay via Paypal, we all have the same protections. It doesn't differ from person to person.

Guys and Gals, don't shoot the messenger (me) but there are many caveats to online purchases that you might want to check in on like... did you pay with PayPal and or a credit card or directly through PayPal, etc.? It can get convoluted with each and every transactional detail. For example,..... "PayPal: You paid for the item with one payment (items purchased with multiple payments are not eligible for Buyer Protection)." Again maybe, maybe not and it depends.

The only thing that matters with the payment is that you made it and Joshua received it, then you have a documented order, even if you have no email from Joshua.
Cancellation is between Joshua and the buyer, other than receiving a return payment, it has nothing to do with PP or your credit card.
Joshua is responsible for shipping , if the item doesn't show up or is damaged in shipping, it is his responsibility , not the buyer's. He has also sent up tech repairs internationally so progress is being made.
At this point, I think best to just stay focussed on the production dates and what is being met or not.

I still don't see the point of your post. At this point there's no issue of people being refused refunds if they've requested it. You're the guy who said, "...I have had immediate needs big time and needed stuff like yesterday," and then two seconds later ordered something from Stam. Now less than a week later you're speculating about this being the "oldest scam in the book." Your thought process seems a tad inconsistent.
