This is retribution - pure and simple. Someone should go over and point out why it has been moved. Beyond childish, but I would expect nothing different. I wouldn't doubt there would be retribution for advertising on this site. Hopefully, karma is a bitch.

But a 299.00 Lin**ll can be in the high end ? That doesn't seem right...  ? puzzled... Maybe the Lind**l is high end sounding but should they go in Low End because of the price ? |

Jeff, I'm sorry you got dragged into all this. Although, honestly, you're now going to reach an entirely different - and larger - market. I bet after 3 months, it was only the people that already have CAPI products that were posting in that thread. IMHO, GS unknowingly did you a favor.

The beauty of the "truth", is it's utterly self sustaining, a lie is a whole lot of work to cover up and maintain, CAPI, for as long as i've been aware of them, has been steadily growing, for one simple reason, they make a great product. Let those guys do what they want, and we can concentrate on making this place the best, most informative audio gear forum on the net!! Then everything will work itself out nicely.
A little story, my buddy Mark was over working on some drum stuff with me, and i showed him the capi pre's i built, he was just about to start a recording session with his brazilian percussion band, he's 500 series based, and has been using pre's with the name L*****l on them, i let him borrow a red dot loaded vp28, a month later and 15 phone calls later, he brought it back, he told me he ended up overdubbing every track he could get away with the VP, and asked if i would build him a bunch of them!
I knew that was going to happen!

I find it quite humorous that I am bothering some people or companies so much that they need to mess with threads like that. It's kind of flattering in a way. Like Billy Currington says, "must be doin' something right"!  |

there is a whole bunch of guys throwing the slap down on the move over there, and i think dr bill said it right, this has backfire written all over it!, the lowend guys are going to see you can get high end real quick! Matt, I promise u would not regret it. Very good. I think instead of buying another Apollo Quad, I am going to expand my outboard with a 500 rack. My first complete mix using UAD/Apollo is going to take cowboy's advice to heart, and will be done with just enough plugs to get it done. And just enough stems to take advantage of what OTB mixing provides sonically. Building out a new PT template now, for tonight's session. |

OK - so I went over and read the last few pages of the CAPI thread (that I freaking started)...and it's just ignorant...
My initial reaction is that I want one of my goons to go over there and tell it like it is...The thread got put in the low end as retribution for starting this forum. It's plain and simple and we all know why it was moved...It ain't no big secret. But I don't want Jeff to lose the thread.
