Don't try it...
I'm getting old and my beard is quickly turning not just grey, but a glistening hue of snow in a white room with flourescent lights...and I'm not quiiiite ready for it. So, I thought I'd try some "touch of grey" type stuff for the ole beard...Ordered off, got it and while the instructions were a little vague, I assume I was following them. This stuff is supposed to not particularly be dye, but it supposedly returns some certain enzyme to the hair follicle and the follicle supposedly returns to your original color...I'd been lightly using it for a couple days and thought, "hey - looking pretty good..." So I applied a small coat this morning and went out to the dog park with the dogs. My kid looks at me and says, "Dad...OMG..." I look in the mirror and it looks like a pumpkin had made love to my face. I'm not sure how the people in the dog park looked me in the eye. lol
Needless to say, I'm currently beardless and have learned my lesson. I will accept my elder status with grace from this point forward.
