I use it. I love how deep it is, and all the options. At the same time, that's its downfall. Sometimes I just want a quick and easy EQ, and wind up just using the DMG curves. That's not really a disadvantage, so much as I feel I'm not using the EQ to its fullest.
Also, CPU usage can be a little high when you're using the Analyzer and are on FIR Analog mode. I also get an annoying little echo when I hit stop in Reaper when I use that mode.

FWIW, Dave said the echo sound in Reaper is expected behavior, although I still fail to understand why. It sounds as if a buffer of audio fills up while you're in playback, then you hit stop and there's no sound for a second, and then the bucket of audio empties into your speakers for a second.
