Anyone know where I can get a repair manual for a Roland VK7 keyboard? All of my googling results turn up Owner's Manuals but not repair.

Roland so far unresponsive Did you call them? Or did you just email? Sometimes with these companies you have to call and insist on talking to a supervisor, not just a help desk monkey. (Don't call them that, obviously.) Then you might need to convince the supervisor or your competence.

Haven't had time to sit by the phone. In the past, they always tried to get me to bring an item to an authorized service center.

Therre's nothing a tech hates more than having to deal with the results of an unqualified person messing around in something way past his depth. You have to talk to them so they know you know what you're doing and in some cases have the necessary tools and test gear to be able to do the job properly.

I know enough to test power supplies but anything else, especially chip-related, is beyond my capabilities. Interestingly, I found a certified Roland Repair Shop seven minutes from my house so I'm just going to take it there.
