Is a 1K5 resistor the same value as a 1.5K ? Is a 2K4 resistor the same value as a 2.4K ? Yep. It's best to use the former notation if you're working with folks from around the world,for the most part. A lot of places in the world don't use " . " for decimal places. Some use " , " and regional software like Excel won't display decimals correctly, leading to confusion and mistakes. |
