So... Just picked up my Delta. Going to start the cleaning and all.
One question came to mind... Has anyone modded aux 3-4/5-6 to be stereo? I need to study the schematic, but want to throw that out there.

I thought if you hard panned them you could pass stereo over pairs ?

I thought if you hard panned them you could pass stereo over pairs ? Well you can... I was thinking of something a little more elegent. Like duel concentric pots for level and pan. I really like stereo cues.

Fair enough, I thought the delta pan circuit had some stereo widening built in ?

Fair enough, I thought the delta pan circuit had some stereo widening built in ? I am talking strictly for aux sends. In the "4 aux" modules you can flip 3+4 to be 5+6, but can I just melt 3+4 to a stereo pair and 5+6 to a stereo pair and use the 3/5 and 4/6 holes for new pots? It may be more of a pain then it's worth, but these are the things that keep use up a night.

I think that would work but what circuitry would you use to drive your new pots or would you be adding daughter boards and if so what you be doing about increased power consumption ?

If you select three or four at the channel you’re picking one bus or the other. If you select 3+4 and it’s a post-pan pot send, it’s already panned between 3 and 4.
Can you post a block diagram or schematic?

Looks like then each channel can be LCR to a pair of auxes (3, 3+4, or 4).
Or actually if those are variable sends, not sure about the symbol, then you could send any amount to any aux.

Yes I know, he asked for that or the schematics, so I posted what I had My delta master faders and leds are reversed ? Right fader is on left led etc. I guess just an internal connection I can flip ?

I need to study the schematic, but want to throw that out there. . Probably need some daughter board non stock/ common dual concentric pots are not cheap so keep that in mind ! Over time you get used to and find a stereo send on 2 pots is just as easy as using a pan & the loss of dual mono would be a huge hit. That said I have always dreamed of a board where you had the option of dual mono or stereo sends with pans, but that means at the very least dual concentric pots most likely with multiple elements and different values of elements and that means even bigger bucks! Keep in mind you would probably want a similar pan response to the channel pans so that might complicate things! Someday when I have the funds to Send some of my DDA FMR modules to JW a couple of my wishlist mod would adding dual concentrics on a 2 of the four aux knobs so that I could use all 6 aux at once, adding another bank of aux switches and another Ribbon cable for true 16 bussing rather than 8 busses repeating over the 16 line bus modules and bringing the mic line modules to the bridge! So I understand wanting to push your routing capabilities!
