I don't have any great details to offer other than that my good buddy has had his SA-67 for several weeks and really likes it. I've heard a couple of clips and it sounds like a 67 to me.

So, has anyone received theirs? Any detailed reviews; good, bad, or indifferent? It’s been quiet on this one for a bit. Is everyone who ordered one still waiting on theirs?

I’m thinking of using my 50% Stam discount on SA-67 or SA-47, leaning towards the 67. Hope some more reviews and samples come out soon.

^^^^ Yes, exactly. I even emailed them asking if it was true the 47 was in stock. No response. Glad I never placed an order. More of the same from a barely known company I cannot trust.

I think you will find the information on this thread is some of the most accurate ..
I have emailed them periodically over the last few months and had had relatively timely but accurate responses .
It would seem if you ordered a 47 now you would get it in 3-6 months. Most of us on the adg thread paid last spring and we should finally get them over the next month, but we have the option of saving 50% off our next order, yes, it’s because of the delays, but that’s a nice gesture. If I ordered a Stamchilde the savings would essentially pay for say a 47, essentially for free.
I won’t deny waiting is frustrating but it is also the case, that Joshua also works to redress the situation in meaningful ways as well.

I've emailed a couple times over the past week and had prompt response. FWIW.

Which email did you email? We are answering them between 4 people daily but I am afraid is not enough We are not a barely known company, we are actually one of the best selling companies in the pro audio business. There is nothing not to trust, we have either sent refund or sent a unit, always, for years.

So, if it’s six months to get a mic why does the website say it’s in stock? I feel like dropping almost 2k on a mic that you may or may not get is risky business. I could see a deposit of 10-20% but to ask for it in full is too much for my blood.

Perhaps that is a site error as normally a deposit is down around 20% of price ?

Has anybody seen any review videos on the Stam 67 out there anywhere? Edit: Nevermind. I found a few videos. There are also some sample clips of the SA67 on GS in the official thread, but they are being compared against non-67 type mics.

Hi, Josh stam I've sent you a couple of emails recently regarding my SA-67 and SA-76 ADF orders. See if you can find them amongst the masses of emails that you receive every day. I also sent you a PM here on RGO. Thanks for your time Malcolm

The site often says things are in stock when they aren’t. People that are willing to wait 6 months to a year for gear usually come under two categories: A hobbyist, or someone who has so much high end gear that the delay doesn't matter. I'm neither, so buying Stam is out of the question.

I'm kind of shocked at all the new product announcements that keep showing up. You would think there would be some pressure to double down and catch up on orders. I have no dog in the race, just observing from the sidelines.

I should be at the top of the list for the batch that ships this month. I will post a review ASAP. And some clips....

If what is reported is true, then I think the backlog has been quite reduced but we are not out of the woods yet and the next few months are critical to that and ramping up for the new production so we will see ? Fingers crossed as I have 2 adg's and a 67 on order and couldn't resist some of the new offerings either
