I mean, to be fair, when the two main companies involved in making the mic are having a knock-down, drag-out in public, it’s pretty relevant to the mic in question.

I'm hesitant to get in the middle of this since I know both gentlemen (Eric Heiserman and Josh van der Stam), and I don't presume to know about events of which I have no direct knowledge... but if I can speak personally, I do purchase Heiserman capsules regularly (pretty much every month for the past couple years) for my premium line of microphones (www.signalartelectronics.com). I clearly state that my mics use Heiserman capsules. I put those in the premium line, and the baseline editions use my own lower cost (but still good) imported capsules. In the several years I've had a business relationship with Heiserman, I can only say positive things. The quality of the capsules is excellent. It was very important for me to source capsules, transformers, metalwork and other things from a USA source, and there are not a huge number of options there; but I still would not buy them if I didn't think that they were very very good, and they are. It's been exceedingly rare that I had an issue with anything; and when I did, Eric has been amicable, reachable, and always makes things right. I'm a big fan of their K47, K87, K67, and now their new CK12.
I do think the only way to become excellent at something is to keep doing it, and this is esp true of making capsules. I've only seen the Heiserman stuff get better and more consistent and more refined over the last several years, and no reason not to have confidence with them going forward. Just my 2 cents, and again only speaking from personal experience here.

Fair enuff Ragan: but the only thing worse than “he said, she said “ is “he said, he said”?
I agree it’s relevant to understanding root production problems and probably more prevalent in the boutique gear supply supply chain than people care to admit.
Just tired of all the drama and bad blood: have some other challenges in my life and come here to get away from all that, if possible ?

Good Lord...I cant read everything around here. Can someone please let me know when shit like this goes down? I’m going to delete some of these posts and we are going to focus on the product at hand. Manufacturers, I understand wanting to defend your positions, but it has now been said...it does neither of you any good if things progress.

I don't want to add fuel to the fire but it's funny how Stam is telling other people (GS) that posting private emails online is illegal but he has no problem doing it himself. That says a lot... To be fair he only posted his own email not someone else's. And now back to talking about this mic.
I was just about to post this, I posted my own email, not his. I don't think your point is valid

Hey Stam, ever heard the phrase “the pot calling the kettle black”? Not sure if that’s a commonly used saying in Chile but you calling out Heiserman for failing to correct an alleged manufacturing problem after 3 years is absurd considering it’s taken you longer to figure out a way to consistently answer emails... Make no mistake about it, your posts are making your competition money. They do nothing but make you look bad. The next two people I plan to buy from are both competitors to you, and yes, one of those is Heiserman. No, I do not know that saying. Sorry We answer emails just fine. I wonder what you would say if I refuse to refund 12 preamps or compressors to forum members. I am pretty sure you guys would crucify me. I am glad my posts are making Heiserman some money, maybe he will have enough to pay me back.
