Not sure whether I think it's a good idea...Maybe we keep it like your mama said, "If you don't have anything good to say, keep it to yourself..."

Yeah. By implication no thumbs up could mean a thumbs down...

I don't see a need for it. If you're going to toss a thumbs down at someone, it at least deserves a reply post with some reasoning.

Giving the "thumbs down" a thumbs down. Agree with jcoutu1's statement above.

NO. No need for it. Turn that smile, upside-down, mister!

I'm with everyone else on this, a thumbs down is usually replaced with a few words of thoughtful explanation here, this is what I like about this place

No, this place is full of positive vibes. Thumbsdown is negative.

As you may have understood, you, or anyone else for that matter, can fool me anytime. After checking Google translate I believe 'credulous' is the word, or 'naive'. That's me.

If we had a thumbs down, I'd have to stop posting entirely. That may be enough reason to have it!

See: my signature. I'd end up getting enough "thumbs down" s in here in a week to ruin it for everyone. Ain't nobody got time for dat!

No way. I would have this tacked to the top every post I make: "Svart doesn't like this".
Agreed with all. No issue with disagreeing...but, "why" is the only reason to publicly disagree, right? If you disagree and don't have anything to say...you just move on--what's the point of the button? If you disagree and HAVE something to say...say it.

I don't like that you think I'd automatically dislike what you think I might dislike. There.

What can I say? It's all been said already. Damn time zones. But yes to NO. If you don't agree with someone, state your case. Thumbs down is sooooooo GS.

Just to get to know the options here... Is this a puking smiley? In that case, more than enough for the average grumpy person, if you ask me!
