For those of you who use hardware on your inserts or as part of your 2 Buss when mixing. Or even for guys running their DAW into their console..... Recently pro-tools-expert did a review on the Silver Bullet and I was wandering around their website because of it and ran across this : Ingenious New Free Plug-in - Snapshot - Store Images Of Hardware Settings In Your DAW — Pro Tools ExpertIt's a RECALL / Photo / Plugin Software piece called "snapshot". It's pretty cool. You can have multiple windows open, there's a spot for notes (although a bit kludgy on this version) which is super useful, and all your "recall info" - picture, notes, etc. is all stored in a recallable plugin that's imbedded in your DAW session. VST, AU, AAX. Mac only at this point I think, although they are looking to go Windows soon. AND IT"S FREE!!!I included a pic of a session with recall pics and notes so you can see what it's all about. i just noticed. In Pro Tools you can save "presets" so you can start with your gear in it's sweet spot, and save it as a "preset". If there are no changes, bam! You're done. If there are changes, you can make comments to that effect in the notes. Pretty sweet.

This is very cool. I've often thought of something like this. In Reaper, I sometimes insert images on the media item itself which is handy.
But, my God, man! Did you leave your Silver Bullet out on the railroad tracks for a month or something?

No AU for Logic. In Logic there is cool workaround I use since logic X. I post the picture in my drop box copy the image link and put it into the track notes. If I want to recall one clik and the image is there.

Looks really cool but it might really be a PITA to do a 32 channel inline console and associated outboard with it. I'm still trying to get my music partner to take decent notes...

Dowloaded, installed, pics are upside down and edges cropped. Opened pic in osx previewer and exported as .png, no more upside down. Which was wierd that the iphone pic was jpg, is that because I emailed it? Very cool plugin, This will get much use for sure. Wish it didnt trim the edges of the pic, still very cool.

Sorry, my ADD sure it has AU suport too. Is running well and yes, makes live a lot easier. THANKS AGAIN BILL.... !!!!
