Labor Day Meatballs
1 cup raw jasmine rice 1 lb 80/20 ground beef 1 lb ground pork 1 medium white onion 1 garlic head 1 small fresh ginger root 1 egg Honey to taste Golden Mountain sauce to taste Thai Chili peppers to to taste Fine vermicelli noodles for binding Don't think I added salt and pepper?? Probably not...
Start the rice (I use a rice cooker) Put the vermicelli noodles in a bowl with hot tap water.
Chop the veggies as fine as you can!
Chop the vermicelli noodles about 1" in length
Put everything but the jasmine rice into a stand mixer with whisk attatchment and mix slowly. Manually mix it with a wooden spoon, and mix whisk again faster.
Smell and adjust.
Roll the balls TIGHTLY! About ping pong ball size.
Pan fry with some oil (I used bacon grease).
When the rice is done, put it in a crock pot and add the meatballs as you cook them.
Party time!
Please, and THANK YOU!
XOXO

I had some requests for this recipe from last weekend. Typed it up for FB, thought I'd share here.
Not gear related, sorry.
But critique my meatball mixture.
Let's MIX it up!
XOXO
