What's this based on? Looks like a nice low part count, which I can handle.

The kits arrived, there was some delay... communication was good though. There were 3 1K5 resistors missing from one of the kits....which though frustrating, was solved easily as there is a shop in town that sells components..still, that shouldn't happen.... again communication was good. Build was straight forward, I made a single error on the build, which was my fault, I put a link in the wrong way... again communication was good. I quickly tested the sound yesterday and did some sweeps, and its all working.... the boosts are a little "ripple-y" but the cuts are perfect... The functionality of the EQ is pretty versatile between the selections of the frequencies and the mid boost/cut... you can do the pultec curve thing. I compared it really briefly against my modified Delta EQ and its, different. Slightly softer sounding was my first reaction.... I really didn't get much of a test... I will do more. The price of the kit at 189USD was pretty good I thought for what I got... I think that price is rising to 229USD. Only time will tell how well it works. Will probably build the second kit today... I might end up selling one at cost, so hit me up if you are interested... Cheers Wiz
