Is there still no way to get a pair of these in the US? You can order at the factory I don't know how much US Border Taxes is from Gemany. You have a 2 month test drive period if they are not back at the factory within this time they are yours. Because your overseas I am sure you have to deposit the mony before they send the pair. Shipping costs will be approx 40 Euro per speaker on top. me-geithain.de/index.php/en/studio/service/contact-form

I'd like to buy a pair of Geithain RL 934 k1 nearfield monitors, and also a Basis 11k sub to put in between them. That would be a big (and final) update to my monitoring situation. I'm currently working with APS Klasiks, but I'm moving in a new room soon, smaller, and the monitors will have to be placed close to a wall. The cardioid bass of the Geithain K serie seem much appropriate. THe K1 variant is also pretty thin, and the few centimeters gained in depth would make quite a difference in the room. Also, the Geithains recommended listening distance, 1 meter, matters in my room. Has anybody tried them ? Are they good ? Is there something significantly better out there that's worth considering instead ? The SOS review of the RL944K worries me a bit (the 934 and 944 are supposed to sound the same, except that the 934 goes a bit lower down to 30Hz). The reviewer hears a "boxiness" and a weak stereo image... Not something you usually associate with high-end monitors. Thanks ! link to the SOS review : www.soundonsound.com/reviews/geithain-rl944k
