IGS has released a new 500 series compressor based on LA-2A. www.igsaudio.pl/en/product/500-modules/89-one-la-500 Love how Igor has managed to fit so much components into this unit (and it weights 3 kg apparently) Waiting for some audio samples to come through. Has anyone tried this unit?

That's a beautiful looking module. Is it available in kit form?

Not sure but as far as I know IGS does not carry DIY kits. But looking at the innards of the unit I'd rather have someone to build it for me.. things are packed so tight I don't think I will be able to fit my finger in there

I saw this. Pretty neat stuff and nicely put together. Be careful where you put it, though. The site quotes "max 180mA per slot", which exceeds VPR spec by about 50%. So basically, it can use three spaces worth of power.

Thank you for your information horvitz Maybe I can use this unit with Lindell 506 to accommodate that extra power consumption (400mA of power per slot).
