Since I fell off a ladder 7 weeks ago, destroyed my knee, so I've been pretty much stuck on the couch.
Couldn't work at all.
Ripped this, tore & severed that, etc, etc...
Anyhow, had enough, back to business...even though I'm in a bit of pain, gotta get back into the groove.
And since there isn't any pending sessions this week, I decided I'm gonna open the studio's private pub tomorrow.
Think I might be able to tend bar for a few hours, if I drink a few Belgians?)
(if any of you are in the area gimme a shout.)
ON tap will be.
#1 - ST. Bernardus ABT-12 - Beautiful Belgian Brown Ale (very strong 12 % ABV)
This is the one tap that never changes at my place, it's always here!
Probably the greatest Belgian Brown Ale (available in kegs!) in the USA...
It's made from a shared recipe from Westvletern, (which isn't available in kegs!)
Literally the "Creme de le Creme of Belgian Browns ales, and I usually order 20 per year.
#2 - Chimay Doree - A very light Belgian Blonde Pale Ale that was made by the Monks, just for the Monks to drink.
The brewery recently released it in very limited supply, a great light Belgian for the summer! (4.8 % ABV)
#3 - La Trappe Witte - A Belgian White beer, also very light and a wonderful drink in the warmer months.
Served in a tall glass, with a slice of Lemon!
It's a beautiful thing! (5.5% ABV)
And here is where we separate the men from the boys...
I keep a few Kegs of Belgian Christmas Ales in the cooler since last NOVEMBER!
Yeah it's Christmas in Millbrook.
#4 - Scaldis Noel - Not sure what to say about this other then you better be sitting down when you have a few of these.
(trust me I just had a few...I mean I had to test the kegs and make sure everything is good for tomorrow, right?)
Haha. (leaning sideways as I type this....)
If your into Belgian beers, and know the Christmas Ales, then you will know this stuff is to die for. (12 % ABV)
Only have 4 taps, but this is besides the 100's of assorted bottles and canned beers we stock.
Even though it's supposed to rain tomorrow, ya think anyone is gonna care...
