Twin peaks.
This new season is posed to solidify this show as david Lynch's masterpiece.
And since we are on rgo I'll mention i think the music is stellar.

I love David Lynch and TP. Random sidenote. I've stayed at the Salish Lodge (called the "Great Northern" in TP). I also took a rally driving class at this school whose office is the Sherriff's office from TP. So, there's that. |

I live in Seattle so it's not very impressive, that area being like 45 min away. It's beautiful and spooky out there though for sure. I suck at rally driving. It was just a fancy, one day course that someone else paid for. Big fun though. And the office there is like, untouched. I kept expecting Sherrie Truman to come around the corner. |

There is a facebook video where the pianist who wrote the theme music (Lora's Theme) recollects how he and david sat at the piano while david described the opening scenes visually and the pianist just started playing and David reacted, he created the main theme essentially in one pass and david told him to change nothing as that was Lora' Theme: very moving.
