Hi all I have completed a hair ball audio 1176 Kit It turned out great and sounds fabulous .
i do have one problem that I hope some one has a answer for. The ratio buttons operate just the opposite of what the should. when I push the 20db reduction I get 4 dB reduction. When I press 4 db I get 20 db reduction, pressing 8 gives me 12 and pressing 12 gives me 8, so they are just opposit of what they should be.
i followed the build guide very closely . Is there something I missed?
any help would be nice
thanks Neal

Just guessing. If you're going by what's printed on the front panel, Turn the 4 botton switch around. Sounds like you have it upside down.

What ?? So if there are no dumb diy questions and if this the diy area, why? How? Is it wrong to post a specific diy question here ? If there are no dumb questions frankly that seems illogical ?
