Riveting from top to bottom. The ending is the best.

I saw Bruce Springsteen in his prime around 1978. It was the best rock and roll concert I've ever seen. Amazing energy. Amazing connection with his audience. Amazing interplay with Clarence and the other band members. He's an institution now, but nobody should ever forget how dynamic he was in his prime.
BTW: The first half of his book is really good. Takes you right back to the commitment, persistence and struggle in the early years that made him so great.

utterly extra super extremely hilarious. I saw him in 78 or thereabouts. also, greatest show I ever saw. huge fan of Born to Run album. desert island album level. also like a few other tunes by him, but very unfamiliar with most of his other work.
started watching a show I taped a while back called the Ties that Bind. really good.

So great. We all know that guy. Or have maybe been that guy! I can think of walking in a place early to say hello to the house sound guy and finding a band I knew setting up, assuming I'd shown to see them. Couldn't stay. Ouch.
