Heads up, a lot of their parts drawer DIY stuff is 50% off, and with the new bankruptcy proceedings may be going away. Some of those little PCB's are really useful, and I can't find anything else like'm at any price. www.radioshack.com/collections/breadboards-ic-sockets

Years ago they had a RadioShack.com store near me, which of course didn't last long. They sold the stuff at mere pennies on the dollar. I picked up all kinds of parts I've been using over the years.

Radio Shack closed here a couple of years ago. I picked up a couple of hundred dollars of stuff. Some of it was a waste of money... a DVM won't properly read capacitance. Best find was Digital Calipers and DeoxIT Gold G5... all of the stuff was marked down to what would be regular price anywhere else... good riddance Radio Shack shysters.

The point was, you might find something decent at the Shack at closeout prices (regular retail price), but much of it was junk (certainly at inflated prices). Breadboards were probably a bargain. Electronics, not so much. Maybe that will help someone, or not...
