Going to be building tonight or tomorrow, pretty excited about what simple midi capabilities this will add to my production and synth making without having to rely on a DAW midi out... Adding arpeggiator capability to my Nord Wave

I'm just getting into midi stuff with an old Roland piano as the midi controller into a DAW with simple instruments. Maybe you can suggest a midi instrument pack with a widespread selection of instruments for general production?

I'm just getting into midi stuff with an old Roland piano as the midi controller into a DAW with simple instruments. Maybe you can suggest a midi instrument pack with a widespread selection of instruments for general production? this DIY box, is known as a MIDI Events Processor. It has all sorts of capabilities and different codes/scripts, effects, etc. But they aren't audio effects, they are data effects. So for an example, it has MIDI delay, which creates a delay. You can use it to split your controller keyboard into ranges so each range of the keyboard controls different synths. It also has a chord generator where each note is a separate channel to control 3 mono synths effectively making polyphony. In terms of what you're looking for, I would maybe a get a sample host like Native Instruments Kontakt.
