Has anyone made a SPX90 plug-in? Yamaha? Steinberg? Is it part of the latest greatest Cubase?

I have an EMP-700 here that has been re-capped by someone and I put a new battery in it. For about $50 it does a lot of the same things. Sorry, no help about plugins.

No offense but for what used Spx90's go for who cares? Well, honestly a lot of plugins are probably doing better anyway.

I knew a live engineer who always carried a t.c. electronics with him, whereever he was working. He was totally fed up with the SPX90 sound, and they stood everywhere he goes.... Really, they were seemingly at each and every venue around...always this same cheap (bread&butter?) sound...

Thanks! I'll give these a try and see how they compare to the real deal.

Necro post! Neyrinck released a plugin based on a preset from the SPX90 Symphonic. Running the demo, it's pretty limited but there is something really nice about the symphonic at a low frequency rate. $89.00 is overpriced IMO neyrinck.com/symphonic/There's also the Overloud Modula which has Symphonic, Dimension D and Ensemble emulations. www.overloud.com/products/modula

I have an SPX90 sitting in the closet, lol. Bought it a decade ago for the Andy Wallace bass trick and eventually put it in the closet when I went mostly ITB.
