I was checking voltage on my capi PSU since I built a new rack a while ago. I noticed that my 48v was low. I can not get it to adjust over 47.07V. I am positive that I had it adjusted to 48V when I built the PSU. Everything else checks out perfectly with the PSU.
I gather from the spec sheet that I would need to lower the R of 5k11 to allow for the voltage to adjust higher. Or do I have it backwards?

47.07 is probably fine. Sure you can dick around with getting exactly 48v but for that matter it could be the trimmer your using to adjust it. Its weird its not going higher but not unheard of. Now if your certain that it was 48v and it is definitely lowering and continues to lower then that might be an issue.

You measuring with all the channels loaded with mics? Nope, nothing connected. I swear I had it at 48v before, but it could be that my old meter was off.

Or that your new one is. If voltage really has dropped it could be a sign of an electrolytic cap starting to go bad...

jsteiger , any thoughts on this? Thanks for the feedback guys. Could be a few different things I guess. I would start with measuring the AC at the inlet headers where the toroid's secondaries connect and then follow along the path and see where things start to droop. The schemo for the PSU is published and a pretty straight forward circuit.
