There is a person in my neck of the woods selling (1100 Swiss Francs), from how it is described as well as the looks of it, to be a mint 84, very old and without the pad. The thing about it that strikes me as odd is that the Neumann badge on the body has blanched. From the photographs supplied with the ad it looks positively white and devoid of color. Although I am certainly not a Neumann historian, this seems a little odd as I haven't ever seen this phenomenon before. Has anybody else?
I would love to pick it up but unfortunately haven't the ready scratch, but if you have but a moment, please take a look and tell me what you think about "The Albino".

Maybe someone could comment about the early production models, but it looks a good bit different than mine. I wouldn't have any issues with the badge.
