Hey guys. I just finished this point-to-point two-channel tube mic preamp. Video with photos included. Let me know what you think
...Really. Let me know if there are any tweaks you think I should make tonally.

Sounds awesome!
Is it from a kit or did you source everything yourself?

The only kit component is the psu regulator from John Broskie. Everthing else was sourced, down to the paper-in-oil caps from Russia.

Where did you get the P.S.B.s?

I really want a couple of tube mic preamps for my place. Did you start with just a schematic, or was this a groupdiy type project?
If really does sound great to me. I'm sure those mics aren't hurting the sound either

The schematic is based on Scott Hampton's tube preamp from a 2002 tapeop article. I made a few minor tweaks to the design. The PSU regulator pcb kit is from here: glass-ware.stores.yahoo.net/hiposu.html
