I watched a video on this yesterday, I can't find it.. I think it might have been pulled. I will put it here when I find it again. There are a few new mics coming.. the video also has a good lot of stuff about their manufacturing process.... You can see the new mics on this page... Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but I think the new tube stuff looks great... really interested in the TF-49 Photos of new Rode Mics.
cheers Wiz

Seems like the M50 market is heating up.

David Bock's Soundelux reproduction of the Neumann M50 as opposed to Rode's TFM50 version. Probably the best orchestral omni mic ever made.

No probably about it. Undisputed IMO. Just passed on buying a LCR set of M50's. Way too rich for my blood ($54,000 for the set), but I would have LOVED to have them. Amazing mics - unrivaled by anything vintage OR modern IMO.

Any talk on how much the Rode TFM50s will be?

I have been very interested in the NTR ribbon mic. I just returned a pair of Royer 101's that were on long term loan today so I'm ribbon mic grieving. The 50 does sound intriguing too. I still use my K2

I had time with Mr. Bock's M50 reproduction at NAMM. Second to none.
