I can see why so many companies are so reluctant. You've to pay for the SDK, and you've to pay for licensing it. That's a whole chunk of money gone for a narrow market, compared to VST. Not to mention I've heard developers say that RTAS and TDM were a pain in the hole to code with..so I can't imagine people are much more eager to learn the new one.

7.4.1 installed with no issues. All of my licensed UAD plugs are available in PT 11. So far, so good.

Actually Avid doesn't charge for the SDK and they give developers big discounts on Pro Tools rigs! I've been told the main AAX delay was caused by multi-format SDKs being late to the game for developers who wanted to write just one set of code for mac, PC, AU, VST2, VST3, RTAS and AAX.
